Norwood’s Memorial Day Schedule

The Town of Norwood will be hosting activities dedicated to celebrating Memorial Day on Saturday, May 27 and Monday, May 29. All Norwood residents are invited to the events to help remember those who died in active military service.
The Norwood Department of Veteran Services coordinates the Memorial Day weekend ceremonies, beginning with placing the American flags on the graves of Norwood Veterans on May 27. Volunteers are welcome to assist in the effort and can receive more information from Director of Veteran Services Ted Mulvehill’s office, at 781-762-1240.
The ceremonies on Memorial Day, May 29, will begin with a service at Saint Catherine of Siena Church. The American flag on the Town Common will then be placed at half-staff.
