Norwood Municipal Light Department (NMLD) Rebates

Energy New England, in partnership with NMLD, offers no cost Home Energy Assessments to identify heating, lighting, weatherization and rebate opportunities that can save you money on your utility bills. Call Energy New England at 888-772-4242 to schedule a home energy assessment. NMLD offers rebates on Energy Star-rated appliances (like refrigerators and washing machines) and electric lawn equipment. For more information on the rebates, visit norwoodlight.com/rebates or call Energy New England at 508-698-1225.

NMLD also offers rebates to customers who do not heat with natural gas, for air source heat pump installations and weatherization rebates for insulation and air sealing.

Customers who do heat with Natural Gas may look on masssave.com/nsw for rebates. The Town of Norwood’s Energy Advocate, Julie Barbour-Issa, is available to answer questions about Mass Save and she can be reached at (781) 390-9913.
