 Kick off your Summer with fresh produce and artisan goods at the Norwood Farmers Market (NFM) Opening Day, and stick around as the seasonal festivities continue at the Friends of Norwood Center’s Beer Garden! To help celebrate the launch of the season on June 17, the Friends of Norwood Center is hosting pop-up libations on Central Ave., in front of the Norwood Theatre, 5-8 p.m. It’s everything you love about Norwood and more, all in one place!

The Beer Garden will feature local brews from Norwood’s own Castle Island Brewing. Folks can unwind with refreshments, meet with neighbors and friends, and play classic lawn games—all while soaking up the vibrant community atmosphere.

Whether you’re shopping for groceries, meeting friends after work, or just enjoying the summer sun, the Norwood Farmers Market is the place to be. Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to support the hardworking hands that grow, craft, and nourish the Norwood community. 

Rooted in a mission to buy locally, eat healthy, and build community, each year the Market brings together local farmers, food producers, and artisan vendors offering the season’s freshest produce, small-batch jams, breads, flowers, handmade treasures, and live music. This vibrant, outdoor gathering occurs every Tuesday from 2–6 PM on the Norwood Town Common (550 Washington Street). There is ample parking, and it is just a short walk from both the Norwood Central and Norwood Depot train stations, making it an easy part of your weekly routine.

The 2025 Farmers Market runs every Tuesday from June 17 through mid-October, 2-6 p.m., but there’s only one Opening Day—so you won’t want to miss it!
