Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is December 2, this year! Please consider giving your tax-deductible donation to the Bay State Animal Cooperative. Your support enables us to continue to rescue, spay/neuter, care for, foster, provide medical care, and find forever homes for cats who would otherwise stand no chance!

Support BSAC with Titos!

Yankee Spirits in Norwood is partnering with Titos vodka and the Bay State Animal Cooperative for its annual fundraiser. For every 1L and 1.75L of Tito’s Handmade Vodka sold between Nov. 1 and Jan. 1, 2025, Tito’s will donate $1 to the Bay State Animal Cooperative. If vodka is on the holiday entertaining list this year, please purchase Titos at Yankee Spirits to help raise money for this cat rescue group. 

Meet Buddy & Blackie!

Buddy and Blackie were housemates, were surrendered together and would be adopted together as the bond they have together is important, especially since their human dad passed away. They’re both very, very sweet and friendly and are purr machines.

Buddy is super sweet and may be deaf or a deep sleeper as he has zero reactions to voices when asleep. But he LOVES sleeping with his step brother! He is a total cuddle bug and loves to lay in your arms or lap.
After major dentistry Buddy should fatten up a little. He has early kidney disease and requires prescription food. Like all seniors he need a little extra as “we” age!

Blackie is a sweet old gentleman who wants to live out the rest of his life with a loving family!
He loves his life-long cat brother Buddy. Blackie is a little more reserved than Buddy and will wait patiently for his turn when he and his brother seek attention.

Can they spend their senior years with your family?

A quiet, home with reduced activity is preferable as both cats are not used to much activity and deserve some serenity! Added stresses can surely cause senior ailments also!

 There is a $200 adoption fee for each cat that includes; spay or neuter, age- appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia test, FIV test if over 6 months of age, microchip, flea treatment and roundworm treatment as needed, additional treatments as deemed necessary.
