Norwood Firefighter Honored
On January 13, NHL Bruins and the Massachusetts State Lottery honored Norwood Firefighter Paul Ronco as Community All-Star.
On top of his firefighter service, Ronco teaches fire safety in Norwood schools and has recently taken charge of the Professional Fire Fighters of MA Pan Mass Challenge Team. Paul raised over $200,000 for firefighter cancer research and is planning to retire this winter.
A loss to Norwood but a well-deserved retirement!
The Boston Bruins and MA State Lottery honor exceptional members of the community through the Community All-Star program. During every home game of the 2025-26 season, a local hero will receive the recognition of Community All-Star for their dedication and service. Selected winners will receive four (4) Loge tickets to a Bruins home game, plus a shoutout during the game and on the Bruins’ official Facebook and X channels.
Nominees can be military members, first responders, or those who have recently carried out a heroic act. To find out more information or to submit a nomination, visit bit.ly/3MufpcU. Each entry must include a valid reason as to why the individual is qualified for this honor and a high-resolution image of the nominee to be shared on the Bruins’ social media channels.
