25 Years of Light, Love, and Remembrance
Mark your calendars for one of Norwood’s most beautiful and meaningful holiday traditions! This December will mark the 25th year the Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation has invited residents to help light up the Town Common. This year, the event takes place on Saturday, December 5, 4 to 6 p.m., where thousands of glowing luminaries representing life, hope, the holiday season, and remembrance of loved ones will line the common’s sidewalks.
Last year, more than 2,000 luminaries lit up the Common, creating a breathtaking display of community spirit. For just $5, residents can purchase a luminary and include a personal message of hope, celebration, or remembrance.
Luminaries may be purchased by mailing payment to Norwood Circle of Hope, P.O. Box 421, Norwood, MA 02062, or by visiting Murph’s Place Restaurant, 58 Broadway. Order forms will also be available in November electric bills and online at www.norwoodcoh.org.
Founded in 1998 in memory of Norwood resident Michelle Kennedy, who battled leukemia, the Circle of Hope Foundation has provided more than $1.6 million in assistance to local residents facing catastrophic medical circumstances.
Save the date, purchase a luminary, and help keep this heartwarming Norwood tradition shining bright!
