Norwood - Local Town Pages

Read. Learn. Enjoy!

By Bella Caggiano

There is so much history engrained in Massachusetts. Tourists travel from all over the country, and the world, to take in and experience the state’s past, its tragedies, and inspirations. Many books have been written about the state’s local history, and the Norwood Historical Society (NHS) is offering periodical suggestions and discussions by rekindling its monthly book group after its hiatus from Covid restrictions.

In September, there will also be two events at the Day House that will entertain and educate both native and new Bostonians.

The Norwood Historical Society and the F. Holland Day House are valuable resources for both novice and veteran historians, and even for those just curious about local history. For more information on these events or the NHS, visit norwoodhistoricalsociety.org/. The F. Holland Day House is located at 93 Day St., Norwood.
